Refund policy
You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of any Epic plan charge or of a gift that hasn't been redeemed yet. Canceling the subscription stops future charges, and Epic stays active until the end of the paid period.
Who processes the payment
XPNotes purchases are made through Dodo Payments, our authorized reseller (Merchant of Record). Dodo Payments is the one that charges you, issues the receipt and sends the money back for refunds. This policy applies together with the Terms of use and Dodo Payments' purchase terms shown at checkout.
7-day window
- Epic subscription (monthly or yearly): full refund if you ask within 7 days of the charge, whether it's the first one or a renewal.
- Epic gift: full refund within 7 days of the purchase, as long as the gift hasn't been redeemed yet.
- Visual item bought with money and Raid summon: full refund within 7 days of the purchase.
- After 7 days there's no refund: Epic stays active until the end of the paid period, and you can cancel renewal at any time (see below).
- Nothing in this policy limits the rights that consumer protection law in your country gives you, such as the right of withdrawal.
What happens with a refund
- Subscription: the subscription is canceled and Epic ends as soon as the refund goes through; nothing else is charged. Nothing you created is deleted: notes and images stay accessible, and only the limits go back to those of the Free plan.
- Visual item: the item is removed from your account (and from your look, if you're using it).
- Raid summon: if the boss hasn't started yet, the summon leaves the queue; either way, what you received as Leader is removed from the account.
- Gift: the link stops working. If it had already been redeemed and the refund is approved anyway, the gift's days are removed from the recipient's account.
- The money goes back to the same payment method used for the purchase, within Dodo Payments' and your bank's processing times.
How to ask
- By writing to contact@xpnotes.com with the email used for the purchase and, if you have it, the order number; or
- Through the link in the receipt Dodo Payments sent to your email (works for any purchase).
The app doesn't issue refunds on its own: our team checks the request and processes the refund. We reply as quickly as we can, usually within a few business days.
Canceling renewal
Canceling isn't the same as asking for a refund: canceling only stops the next charges. Do it in Settings → Epic → "Manage my subscription" → "Cancel subscription". Epic stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
Deleting your account also cancels the subscription right away, before your data is erased.
Card disputes
Before disputing a charge with your bank (chargeback), talk to us: we can almost always sort it out faster by email. A dispute ends the Epic plan tied to that purchase.
