XPNotes features
XPNotes combines a tasks, goals and notes app with a turn-based RPG: every real quest you complete gives your hero XP, and your first 5 of the day each give a hunt. Below, every feature with a real screenshot of the app.
Your campaign
The first time you log in, the app asks what you want to improve in your life (up to 3 areas, like health, career or studies), what your goal is in each area and what you'll do to get there.
In a few minutes you have a plan: goals with their first quests already created. You can skip it and set it up later.

Today and quests
The Today screen shows the day's quests: one-off, daily or recurring on the days you choose. Every completed quest is worth XP, and one tied to a goal moves that goal forward too.
Your streak grows as long as you keep your scheduled days. Sometimes a completion is critical and worth double: a surprise you only get by acting, never one you buy. Made a mistake? You can undo it the same day.

Turn-based hunts
Each of your first 5 quests of the day gives one hunt. In a hunt you pick the region and the monster, set up your skill Rotation and watch your hero fight turn by turn, with energy, cooldowns, crits, blocks and dodges.
There are 54 hand-painted monsters across 9 regions. Winning gives gold, materials and sometimes a core.

Weekly and goal bosses
The Boss of the week loses health with every quest you complete that week; once defeated, it drops a chest with gold and materials.
Every goal has its bosses too: each new medal (bronze, silver, gold…) is a boss taken down by the goal's XP.

23 classes
Every hero starts as an Apprentice. Then come 7 base classes (Warrior, Mage, Devout, Ranger, Engineer, Rogue and Druid) and 15 advanced ones, each with its own skills, passives and way of fighting.
Your class grows with your quests; skills are upgraded with gold.

Character and forge
Design your hero's look, equip a weapon, an off-hand, a helmet and 3 cores, and see each class's attributes.
At the forge, materials from your hunts become gear: more than 600 pieces, each with its own name.

Journey
The Journey holds the game's own goals, in chapters of steps: create a goal, win in a new region, forge your first weapon. Every step completed gives a reward.
The home screen shows your next step and how much is left.

Party with friends
Form a party of up to 4 people. When everyone completes the day, the party earns extra hunts; when it hits the weekly goal, everyone who did their part opens a chest.
There are party hunts (your friends join as allies) and chat. The party never sees your quests or your schedule.

Goals
Each goal gathers the quests that move it forward and keeps their XP. The bar shows your progress, and each stage is worth a medal.
Add a photo to a goal; when it's complete, the photo becomes its final medal.

Notes
A real notes editor: headings, lists, tables, images, folders and search. Every task line becomes a quest on the Today screen and is worth XP when you complete it.
The free plan holds up to 50 notes.

Focus mode
Tap the eye on a quest or a task line: it moves into focus and the rest of the screen blurs, so you do one thing at a time.
Leave with the same tap, with Esc or by switching screens.
